More Than Words (MTW) seeks a Career Services Manager (CSM) who has a strong background in promoting post-secondary and career access for young adults.  This full-time position reports to the Director of Career Services and works in partnership with the youth development and social enterprise teams.   In addition to working directly with youth, the CSM is responsible for representing MTW to the community and for building and enhancing strong partnerships and collaborations with corporations, educational institutions, and other community partners to generate education and employment opportunities for MTW graduates.  

More Than Words (MTW) seeks a Book Donations Manager (DM) to handle pick-up and delivery of donated books, CDs, DVDs and clothing from private homes, businesses, libraries, and community groups on a weekly basis in support of our two youth-run retail and online stores. The ideal candidate is a flexible, hard-working individual who is comfortable driving the MTW truck and/or MTW van in the Boston Metro area. More Than Words (MTW) is looking for an experienced professional in youth services to lead the design and management of its youth development programs. This role involves developing programs, building partnerships with organizations and funders, managing staff, and promoting a data-driven culture to improve outcomes. The position also includes working directly with youth to support their growth in education, work, and life skills. This position reports to the Director of Youth Development and works closely with the Associate Director of Youth Development (Waltham) and Social Enterprise Leaders. Responsibilities include supervising Youth Development (YD) staff, interns, and volunteers, overseeing program development and management, and acting as a role model and resource for youth.  

More Than Words (MTW) seeks a business oriented, entrepreneurial manager to provide operational leadership around all aspects of MTW’s retail and online businesses (which include an online and retail used bookstore). This position requires an individual with prior retail management experience (brick and mortar, as well as online retail), a commitment to working directly with youth and a track record of motivating and supervising staff to establish and meet high performance standards around managing cost effective inventory and distribution, marketing and merchandising, customer service, and profitability. As with any retail enterprise, this position will require flexible scheduling and direct work with customers and suppliers.
