what folks are saying...

"The folks at More Than Words were super helpful and responsive throughout all parts of the event planning process. The combined rooms at the back of the store were perfect for our needs, providing a space to sit and listen to our speaker, along with a place to congregate and converse while eating delicious food. All-in-all, we had a great experience at More Than Words and would highly recommend the venue for gatherings of booklovers and beyond."

"More Than Words was the most perfect venue for our Boston wedding. Not only is their mission phenomenal, but the space is beautiful and was easily transformed into a ceremony, dance floor, and overall perfect wedding space. It was great to incorporate some of the existing pieces at the store into our wedding and make it special. ... We and our guests had an incredible time and it also felt great to know that some of our wedding fund was going to such a great mission-driven agency."

"We had our wedding reception here in August 2019 on a Saturday night and rented out the whole book store. It was a fantastic space to have a reception. There was plenty of space for 11 60" round tables, dance floor, dueling pianos with baby grans, bar, buffet stations, hors d'oeuvres stations, photo booth, and cake area ... It was a great night and so convenient to downtown. ... We had a room block at the AC Marriott next door that made it very easy for people to head home at the end of the night."
