Amano Studio is a small, woman owned jewelry brand and zero waste production studio based in Sonoma California. We partner with a handful of old New England workshops that give us access to archives of 70+ years of molds and tooling which allows us to resuscitate genuine vintage design as those designs cycle back into fashion. We also salvage "dead stock" vintage from East Coast factories that have closed. We also work with a small workshop in Seoul South Korea that makes our Miyuki Japanese Seed Bead collection.

Moonstone is a natural crystal mineral that is thought to harvest the energy of the moon, which embodies yin's passive and relaxing energy. Similarly, this stone promotes positive well-being and balance, and enhances your intuition. In Ancient Rome it was believed that the pearly sheen of the Moonstone was a shard of solid moonlight and that is symbolized love and fertility just as the moon regulates the natural tides of the earth and sea and of woman. Moonstone is associated with the third eye chakra enhancing intuition. Chain is 14k gold plated brass, 18" L. Card is gold foil letterpress. Printed in Berkeley California. Designed and assembled in our Sonoma California studio.
