Kyla Stroud's husband Richard is a Marine sergeant stationed overseas. Kyla regularly comforts him with love letters, until he dies in a terrorist attack. Now Richard's best friend Trevor has one final duty - return Kyla's correspondences to her. But while bringing the letters home, Trevor begins to read them and is deeply touched by their passion.
